My laptop has decided it's going to start playing up. The problem is as follows:

At fairly intermittent points, the right-hand side of the screen (about an inch and a half in from the right) wobbles and I have to adjust the screen a bit to restore it.

I think it's probably a loose connection or something like that - any ideas how to fix it?

It's not a Novatech laptop by any chance is it? It sounds just like the problem that the Novatech screens suffer from.

We see it at work all the time with HP's, Acers, Dell and even the toughbooks. To be honest Steve, I can send off for a FPR (fixed price repair) but I would look at getting a new one as the cost is near enough the same

Whip it off and make sure nothing is loose?

You can buy most 15"/15.4" screens off eBay for less than £150 after you've paid delivery and Customs' VAT bill. The trick is knowing someone who can determine which one it is and fit it.
