can any of you remember those. You kicked them and they moved in all directions, not condusive to good football but they were interesting if you played in goal during a kick about.

When at school we could only use those cheap plastic ones which moved about alot and also the full size foam footballs that ended up weighing about 2 stone if it rained.

Yep, they found a way to put a shinly coating on them and now use them in the Premier League

sponge footballs are rubbish, whenever i tried to kick them i'd end up standing on the bloody thing and falling over

Why would you want to stand on one? Unless you couldn't trap it properly? ;)

I didn't want to, they were so **** when i kicked them it wud just squash and i'd end up stood on it
