I hope aubergine is some kind of code word for flare.

 

The only produce you can legitimately throw on the pitch at football is celery.

 

There are bound to be loads of crazy wacky saints fans at this one in Santa hats as well.

thanks for clarifying this point, just some of the fools i see at our stadium and away games will probably find it side splitting to come armed with Aubergines or some other produce in the name of "fun".

The only flares you are likely to see on some of the dins in our fan base are 12 inches wide and covering their shoes.

 

And dont forget there will be a few attention seeking mentaists who go in full Santa constume, that would just be too mental for me.

Whoever this wilko is came make up a new song about his aubergines, could even adapt the old chelsea classic. Might hurt a bit more with an aubergine though.
