I did a £2.50 each-way who would win the leagues bet at the start of the season with Man City 9/2, Saints 18/1, Charlton 7/1 and Crawley 7/2.

Does anyone know how they work out the winnings? Do I get 2 winners (hopefully) and 2 places or just all placed?

Any help would be appreciated as i knew if they all won would of been £10k.

Cheers

Ok mate it depends on if it was a 1/5th of the odds place or 1/4 if its a 1/5th you should get back about £188 thats two wins and two places, if its a 1/4 the odds its about £264 either way a nice return, shame about Crawley as they were a silly price at the start of the season..

Hope that helps.

depends how many places they pay whether it's a 1/4 or 1/5 of the stake i.e 18/1 to 9/2 or 7/2.

not sure if they all get placed, either way the max you'll return is 90, minimum 45 based on 1/5 ew rule (which i'd imagine it will be)

looking into it it looks like if one win goes down the whole lot go ew.

Assuming it was a straight accumulator (£5 staked), you lose the win part of the bet as they didn't all win.
As dune said it depends on the place terms, but I made it between £89 and £151.

I'm gonna guess that they won't allow the bet to be collected until the premier league has finished ;)

Course they will, because Man City cannot finnish outside a place. Collect it now.

1/5 odds you pick up 89.15
1/4 odds you pick up 150.66

Could be you have a mixture of 1/4 & 1/5? - obviously then it'll be somewhere in between these amounts.

You'd have got 9,405 as the win part of this. What definitely doesn't happen is that you get 1/4 (or 1/5) of this total. It doesn't work like that. 150.66 is the most you'll be picking up.

Better than nothing. Fair play having Saints as one of the choices.
