View Full Version : Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter
Is it a mistake to look forward to this film?

From the title alone, I'd guess its not a film to take itself too seriously. I'm hoping its in a similar vein to Bubba Ho Tep, which if you haven't seen it is a brilliant budget B movie. Starring Bruce Campbell from the Evil Dead movies as an old Elvis who grew tired of Fame and so switched places with a impersonator and so grew old. Ending up in a retirement home fighting an evil Egyptian Mummy.

Definitely worth a watch if you like a film sharp on wit but doesn't take itself to seriously.
Having now seen it it probably was not worth getting too excited over. Its quite fun but its a solid 6/10 to 7/10 film, not anything higher.
