Damn !
I was going to start a "McGoldrick Sweepstake" thread where people could guess how many goals he gets before Lowe flogs him..

And there was me saying he was rubbish before the season started.
He'll still have to keep it up for me to change my mind tbh.

You can't really include friendlies
So its 3 goals in 2 games

I thought he might do well, and didn't agree with all those saying he'd never get 20 goals. But, I can't say I was hugely impressed with him at Cardiff. A lot of the chances will be coming his way, especially at SMS, so that'll be where to judge him IMO. Rasiak never became a good goalscorer at home and it cost us in quite a few games. McGoldrick should be aiming for 20 league goals anyway, whether others think he can do it or not. Stupidly, I imagine that would lead many clubs to value him at a high price, whereas IMO scoring 20 CCC goals does not make you a great player. It certainly doesn't mean you'll do anything in the premiership. It's strange how the top scorers have dropped so much. It wasn't long ago you'd get a few near 30 or 35, especially in a 46 game season.
