Potentially good news for the fans, but not good if you're the board or Barclays.

OR Reading are using the media to play hard-ball over the price.
Therein lies the problems of Lowe and Poortvillet gobbing off in public about our problems.
Everyone knows how to drive a hard bargain with us.

Im sure Lowe wouldn't be taken in by such ploys(as you weren't). One thing he is good at is getting the best possible price for our players. Andrew Davies I feel is leaving cheaply due to clauses in his contract and so is out of Lowe's hands in that regard. Where as Surman will cost quite abit if he goes.

A contract he wasn't involved in. Say no more.

Very true. For all Lowe's wrong doings, you can't fault him on his transfer dealings when it comes to selling players. Generally speaking, he does tend to get as good a deal as possible.

Thats what I meant :)
Lowe would't sell someone like Davies for 1.3m he would get alot more. His hands are tied as far as price goes I think.
