If they do where is good to get a "fly next day" or something similar deal from?go to the any airport and ask what they have, long as you can go right there and then you could find yourself flying to far flung shores but with no jabs you may come home with yellow fever or worse.

Does this really happen? Lots of people have talked about it but I dont know anyone who has actually done it.

a few years back me and a couple of mates, booked 2 weeks in Ibizia on the friday afternoon and our flight was at 22.30. £89 each!

www.travelrepublic.co.uk is very cheap - We got 10 nights in Tenerife for £4.50 per night in a 3 star hotel in June!

I had a look at that site, there are some good deals on there.

So far teletext looks to be the best and most comprehensive tool for finding a late deal. I'm not sure if I want to leave it until the last minute now (day or two before) in case we cant find anything.

Got return flights to Madrid for £20 last year. Think it was with either Teletext or Lastminute.com

Travel Republic is good for accomodation, but book your flights separately.

Easyjet have just started flying in to Reina Sofia airport and are a bit cheaper than Monarch.
