We are delighted to be able to announce the launch of the new SaintsWeb Podcast.
Hopefully, it will become a regular discussion of current Saints affairs, looking back at recent games, previewing forthcoming ones and discussing the key talking points in the wider world of football.
To subscribe to the podcast through iTunes, go to “Advanced” and “Subscribe to Podcast”, and enter the following URL: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/podcasts/podcast.xml
If you’re using an internet browser that supports RSS feeds, you should be able to subscribe via RSS by clicking the RSS icon at the top of your screen.
This is obviously our first attempt at it, and there will be a squad rotation system for the cast each time (probably fortnightly), and we welcome your feedback to podcast@saintsweb.co.uk
In the first episode, Dan Kerins and I look back at a massive week that has seen the club reach a Wembley cup final for the first time since 1992, as well as reviewing the Pompey game and the potentially unfinished business as far as that competition is concerned.

Hello, and a belated welcome to SaintsWeb. We were hoping to have this site live and running in time for the start of the season, but unfortunately various minor setbacks put paid to that intention.
But hey, we’re here now. You’ll find plenty of old news, backdated from the start of the season including injury news, transfer information and match reports. We’ll also be joined by a number of resident columnists, who will be putting their own slant on the events at St Mary’s. In addition, you’ll be able to add your own comments at the bottom of every news article and column.
Soon, we’ll have a comprehensive Stats section, which will include a searchable database of fixtures, results, player profiles, Southampton pub guides and away ground guides. In the meantime, we’ve got match reports from the games we’ve played this season so far and the fixture list. More functionality will be added as soon as it’s available.
If you have any questions, queries or comments about this site, or you want to suggest a feature we could implement to improve the site, please get in touch with us at saintsweb@saintsweb.co.uk
