The Released List

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Rahdi Jaidi, David Connolly, Bartosz Bialkowski and Lee Holmes while four academy prospects have been promoted to the first team.



Connolly scoring on that wonderful day a year ago that secured promotion to the Championship.

Defender Jaidi, who suffered an injury disrupted campaign, Connolly, who's superb form at the end of last season and beginning of this played a key role in our revival, Bialkowski, who had been our longest serving first team player and injury stricken lee Holmes have now all departed the club on completion of their contracts. All four players have played their part in our re-birth over the last three years. SaintsWeb would like to thank all of them for their contribution and efforts.

Alongside the four players already mentioned, youngsters Ryan Doble, Arran Racine and Harlee Dean have also been released from the club after failing to break into the first team. SaintsWeb wishes them all the best for their future careers.

Four academy players, namely James Ward-Prowse, Jack Stephens, Callum Chambers and Luke Shaw have all been promoted to the first team while scholars Joe Curtis, Chris Johns, Bevis Mugabi and Matt Young have been offered professional contracts.
