Spanish u21 attacking midfielder Yago Falque has joined us on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season. Falque has only just signed permanantly for Spurs but has immediately been loaned out in order to gain first team experience.

It has been confirmed on Sanfrecce Hiroshima's website that their now former player, Tadanari Lee, has signed for Southampton Football Club.

The match at Nottingham Forest began quite evenly as Saints looked to avenge our last game at the City ground in 2009 which was our last at this level before our relegation to League 1.Forest indeed could have opened the scoring through Marcus Tudgay only for him to miss a simple header from a cross in towards our far post.
