Saints Warrior's Achievements

  1. Settle for a win on penalty shoot out. But I think Saints can win 2-1 if can keep the high press for 90 mins and hoof ball out of our area rather than pass back
  2. Saints 12th with 49 pts Leeds relegated
  3. Use this game as a training exercise ready to thrash Bournemouth. But you never know City could have an off day and send out a weak team
  4. Is it really that difficult to change from boring football to say a Burnley type of positive football. These are people who play football for a living for years. Let's hope the players realise what the FA cup is all about and put on a good performance. The Premier league is a franchise and has nothing to do with football as I understand it. Prem just gets teams obsessed with paying over odds for very average players and just short term thinking by sacking anyone any good for Prem safety. Ive seen fans fall a sleep due to boring football at st Mary's so just imagine trying to create boring football on the pitch. The players have lost the skill to be inventive. Even Wimbledon style football would give us a chance as the ball spends more time in oppositions half so why was that not deployed at West Ham. The players have been brain washed unlike 1984 which was a great entertaing Saints side.
  5. Saints make huge profits so it's a good investment. Probably the best club to buy and sell players to make yourself £15m a season. We will get a big relegation payment for 3 seasons too.
  6. This loss makes it virtually impossible to stay up. If you don't win against relegation rivals then how can you win vs teams above. It's not impossible to get 2 wins and say 1 draw but statistically very unlikely. Plus Saints have a much harder run in. We can't score enough goals and the defence can't keep goals out. I think 31 points total so let's hope for a change of style of football and manager next season. No round about manager please.
  7. Prem football is boring and if a team doesn't try to beat the 'get a draw at all costs and if we get a counter break then it's a possible 3 points' then you go down at sime stage. I can't see a change if formation or an increase in attacking tactics vs these teams. We may not get more than 3 points from rest of game. Arsenal away Chelsea home Leicester away Bournemouth home Everton away Man City home
  8. 3-0 Game over. May just as well just lump it up front Stoke style and elbow the ball in.
  9. Same here. I am bewildered by Saints abject football. Two managers have gone due to boring football. And now this..
  10. BBC summary so far. Yikes .... West Ham are comfortable and playing extremely well. They look like a team who should not be struggling, but If they do lose a goal at some point it will be interesting to see if they can play with the same swagger.
  11. A few seasons of being a passing and luxury team means there is no Terry Hurlock or Mark Dennis type of 'get in there' football from Saints. The ability to close down is not there for scared passing teams. England had the same problem for years. Need a miracle to get 3 points now. Unless a 500 % increase in 2nd half.
  12. I've got two games and member so in second phase. But my Spurs away doesn't count. Think it's only season holders where league away counts and that's just for who orders first to get best seats.
  13. Man U have been allocated 33,411 so let's hope it's the same for Saints
  14. Checked club site and carling cup required at least 5 home games if any left. Saturday 11th February (9am) – Official Members who have purchased AT LEAST FIVE home fixtures from the 2016/17 season.
