  1. OK I did not know Koeman said so. Boetius not to SFC then.
  2. Dutch site Voetbal International (vi.nl) reports that Feyenoord lines up Elia as replacement for Boetius, who is wanted by an unknown foreign club. So Boetius maybe to SFC and Elia unlikely to return.
  3. OK in that case I misunderstood and I can see Ludwig's comment is quite amusing. No worries.
  4. The latter Sir. Cleaning windows has given you a clearer vision as Herr Ludwig.
  5. You are completely wrong. I merely wrote the first name of Advocaat which to my surprise changed in to four stars after posting. Try this yourself if you don't believe me. I am a Dutchman and I think it is strange that a common first name is considered inappropriate, altough I am aware that in English his first name has another connotation. Not so in Dutch and D.i.c.k. Advocaat is a household name in Holland. I have followed his career as active player and as coach for over 40 years and I rate him highly as a coach. And also I did not say anything negative about Elia. I hope he will get another chance at Southampton or Sunderland or maybe even Brentford who recently appointed a Dutch coach. I tried to reply yesterday but got a message that I am only allowed 3 posts in 24 hours and had to wait for a day, unless I pay 5 pounds to become a member. Funny forum this.
  6. Sunderland maybe. **** Advocaat surely knows Elia.
  7. I wonder. Could be that SFC is interested but only after qualifying for the EL group fase. In the mean time the transfer value of Elia decreases as he has no future at Werder Bremen.
  8. Dutch site voetbalzone.nl just reports today that Elia's German club Werder Bremen has not been contacted by SFC about Elia. He has to train apart from the team and is up for sale with one year left of his contract.
  9. Article in Voetbalzone.nl says that Clasie has said no to Porto and Fiorentina and a move to Russia. He wants a move to Southampton.
  10. Leroy Fer. Scored 6 goals in 27 PL games for QPR and one for Holland at the WC as a substitute with a powerful header. Last season scored 4 for Norwich. So as a proven goalscorer in relegated PL teams, I think he can do even better for Southampton.
