  1. Playing Sunderland and Watford is known to do that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I am concerned about the loss of koeman ... Whatever else might be said about his departure, he was flexible in using the players and that flexibility won us a few key games That said, i dont think the 6th place was a true reflection over the season but we werent that much behind either (7 or . I am concerned we dont have a backup for Romeu/DM. Puel would earn my trust if he shows the willingness to be flexible (he has shown glimpses of that already by inserting JROD at tthe last game) I am concerned that Puel is not a good communicator ... A lot of times the players (and the fans) will back him and buy into his logic if only he makes an effort to describe his diamond or whatever it is (and why he is going with it) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Southampton are a selling club Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nice ... Not only is he interested in the club history ... He is also into taking in the local attractions and understanding their history Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Agree with ur back 4 ...in a bit of a mess due to the Euros. 1 out of Romeu/Classie 2 out of ward prowse/hojbjerg/tadic davis at the top of the diamond Long plus 1 out of redmond/austin/jrod I still think we should have gone for Idrissa :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Has there been any threads/discussion on the probable starting 11 in the new 4-4-2 diamond? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Got it ... Thanks! Makes sense in the new world ... I was still thinking of Koeman's system Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Why did we not pursue Idrissa Gueye? He would have been an replacement (even an upgrade?) on Wanyama and would complement Romeu http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2655356-idrissa-gueye-to-everton-latest-transfer-details-reaction-and-more
  9. Another idea ... Dont hire young, single batchelors ... Soton might not be hip enuff ... And cant compete with neon and bling of London ... Bring in the married guys ... The wives will keep them here. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Puel would see this as a stepping stone to the premier league riches ... Pellegrini would see this as his last stop ... As his legacy. And who knows, he couls pull a Ranieri and give us his own version of dilly-ding dilly dong [emoji13] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Just sayin that we shouldnt be losing players to the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Two first teamers .. Two internationals. Yes we finished 6th ... No complaints there but we could have easily finished in top 4, kept Koeman, attracted a few stars, and made that next step Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The one constant in all this - and that you cannot ignore - is Reed. Yes, we are a "selling club" and so is *everyone* else (at the right price) ... But it has got to be a little bit jarring that every year we have this parade ... And it would seem that we are the only club amongst the big 5 leagues that has togo through this level of turmoil year in and year out. With Europa "looming" - I'd have been more excited for Europa if Koeman were to be arround - it is not hard to see ourselves into the dreaded R-vortex iif we lose our focus under our new manager and have a bad patch. I think the coming season will be a key season in our history and the new manager will have the toughest first season ever! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Any truth to this? Report: Money not the only factor in Koeman's move to Everton - HITC https://apple.news/AHu4faG9UNziSuQOZdjs8Hw Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
