  1. Leicester do indeed look done, and Leeds have a tough as nails run-in, so you're probably correct. I still would love to see Everton drop as well though.
  2. You need to look at Palace's run immediately prior to Vieira's sacking then immediately after, in terms of the teams they played. I think the sacking was very harsh.
  3. Everton, because the meltdown from their supporters will be glorious. Not to mention the hotel fireworks shenanigans.
  4. I think Selles must have assumed real life is like Football Manager where playing without strikers confuses the opposition and so almost guarantees goals.
  5. Honestly, I think I'd rather see Orsic in the starting lineup than Moi. At least then Selles could claim to be trying something different.
  6. Worst performance I've seen was Forest at home, but last night run it close, perhaps even beats it in the context of the importance of the match and coming off the back of a very good performance against Arsenal.
  7. I've actually been thinking we've really missed Redmond. Not as much as Romeu, but even with him being as inconsistent as he was, his direct running did cause opposition defences some problems and at least he was pretty proficient at getting the ball into the box.
  8. My method for watching matches is a VPN connected to an American server and a Peacock subscription at $4.99 per month. But I'll be otherwise occupied tomorrow night.
  9. 1. Worst Player of the Season. Gavin Bazunu 2. Worst Manager. Nathan Jones 3. Worst Team Performance of the Season. Take your pick. That Forest game and when we had the uphill task against 10-man Wolves stand out though. And the Grimsby debacle. 4. Most Embarrassing Moment. Hard to choose between the various Nathan Jones rants and the Grimsby game. 5. Biggest Player Disappointment. Orsic. 6. Who is responsible for this shit show. Almost everyone at the club. Except perhaps the kit and ground staff because the kits and pitch always look lovely.
  10. Let's hope he doesn't also flash his todger at people.
  11. I've seen nothing but positive coverage of us since about halfway through our first season back in the Premier League. I don't see the problem.
  12. Rooney would be much more effective if he wasn't played out of position. They'd be better off putting Lallana on the left.
  13. Nice statement from Rickie. The guy has earned the title of Saints legend, as I doubt our rise would have been half as swift without his contributions. And he always handled himself in a way which showed him to be down to earth and a model pro. This is the sort of guy young fans should look up to - worked his socks off, worked his way up and all of a sudden finds himself in the England world cup squad and at his boyhood club, which probably seemed impossible even a year ago. I wish Rickie all the best. Very sad to see him go but delighted for the man himself.
