  1. WOW!!! You think we will only 1 2 games of remaining fixtures?? For 1 IMMEDIATE change we will beat Middlesbrough. They are terrible Sunderland on Saturday we want shooting if we do not score at least a point. Hull home - LOL - again if we do not win this then we deserve to go down Stoke last game - don't travel well. Should be winning that one as well. What's with all the relegation drama? I think 37 points will keep you up - but we will be past that long before we get to the last game of the season.
  2. I wont be able to get a ticket either. Downside of being a northern saints fan is that it costs 200 quid a time to come and watch the team, of which I have done 3 times this year. As well as paying my membership for the year. That unfortunately will bare no relevance in priority for tickets.
  3. No, I certainly don't. This rules me out of a ticket and is the only downside of being a north eastern saints fan. Obviously the 600quid I spent on 3 trips to come down for home games is irrelevant in getting a ticket That's the price I pay for living up in Middlesbrough
  4. What an incredible night! This is the reason why, although I am a Middlesbrough lad born and bred, I support Southampton I've grown up and followed the Saints for the past 27 years, seen us through good times and bad, never ever lost faith in the team. This season was always going to be a season of 'finding our feet' under Puel's Management. I know that many of us, myself included at some points thus far, have questioned his rotation and tactics in some games. Last night you can do nothing but take your hat off to him. His tactics worked to absolute perfection. Without question, the lads wanted it more than Scousehampton, that was clear for all to see. The desire, will to win, defending and counter attacking was absolutely world class; I've still got the odd Middlesbrough fan in my ear this morning saying it was a penalty (absolute w*nkers!!). They're only jealous... I notice Gaston's handed in a transfer request. Shows how good Middlesbrough are! WE'RE OFF TO WEMBLEY!!!! Buzzing!!! Never been so proud!!!
  5. I honestly don't think this rumour is true. I believe that he is going to be given a late fitness test today. If he was out for 3 months as of last night, the club would have announced it along with the Oriol Romeu contract extension that was announced late last night. Never believe speculation. Wait for the club to announce! You know what the papers are like about us. Build up to a semi final 2nd leg - that'll be 'big news' to them lot, but we know different
  6. Cheers mate, can't be any more committed to the club and the team I don't think than this!! Hope we do the business. COYR!!!
  7. I'm travelling up from Middlesbrough for this game; flying down on Saturday and staying in the Premier Inn near the ground. First time i'll be travelling alone, but still cannot wait to come down and cheer the lads on!! I'm sat in the Northam. Area 41, Row KK. Anyone sit anywhere near to me? Just for general 'someone to talk to at the game' rather than being on my lonesome!! Cannot wait regardless!! Think we will win this one and get back on track!!
  8. Something I will jump in and say here, mainly in agreement with this post, is that I was born and bred in Middlesbrough and I have supported Southampton all my life. No one in my family supports Southampton, the only real connection I have to the club is that Matt Le Tiss was and still is my idol. I chose to support Southampton at age 3 as I 'liked the shirt' (back then this was all I had to say why I loved them so much) - now 27 years on I love this club more and more every day! I have a connection to the club that I never ever want to lose. Its upsetting me to see this amazing club with amazing players being ran so poorly at the moment. But I will never EVER stop loving our amazing club. How the kids of today and even people my age support the supposed 'Big teams' because they 'win everything' and never go to any games is beyond my thought process!!!
  9. I think tonight will be an interesting team selection... Now we are out of Europe, I'd be thinking that the rotation should lessen... I am aware that we have a tight schedule over Xmas but I think that we need to field a strong side tonight... possibly start with the team that beat Boro. They won the game so deserve to start. Extra days rest on Saturday before Bournemouth... so I'd go for it tonight
  10. I hope you're right. Boro could be in for a backlash!!!
  11. The team without question needs to show us fans a reaction from the disappointment of last night. No better way to do that than securing a good win against a very average Middlesbrough team. They will come to us and play 4-5-1 which could play into our hands. There has to be a reaction... there just has to be!
  12. Sunday now is a MUST WIN GAME A very poor Middlesbrough side. They have to bounce back from this. Lets come together, concentrate on the league and get to January ASAP to bring in a striker
  13. I know, it is dreadful... but you cannot help where you were born and raised can you? HAHA Just a shame I have to put up with the ridiculous 'we are better than you' jibes.. even when they were in the championship. They'll Never be better than us as long as I have a hole in my a**e
  14. After watching the Middlesbrough game last night, there is currently nothing that I fear about playing them. It was one of the worst games of football I've seen for a long time
