Super Ken's Achievements

  1. Club website front page main story is advertising memberships. Encouraging sign-up of new members before next ticket release?
  2. Surely its... Na na, na na, na na na, na na nah, Steve De Ridder, Ridder, Steve de Ridder! To the tune of "Baby give it up"
  3. We wore the round-necked home kit that we had when we were relegated from the Prem in the last game of the season - home to Bolton.
  4. Exactly, this is what I don't understand. What has Tony Lynam and Fialka got out of this by supposedly "duping" Matt? They've lost money, or someone associated with them has. And they've gained nothing apart from now facing anger from loads of angry Saints fans. Seems like there is a lot of scapegoating to me. Fact of the matter is the administrator can only take forward the bids he receives - he can't magic people out of thin air and force people to make bids. Someone paid £500k - thats more than any of us have ever put into the club individually! Fact of the matter is the business case of buying a League One club with £24million debt, a -10pts deduction, a further points deduction to follow if a CVA can't be agreed, does not stack up! And trying do that deal whilst in the middle of the deepest recession in living memory makes it nigh on impossible. Football has been playing megabucks musical chairs for years and its just our luck that when the music stops we been left high and dry. Life is unfair, end of. Lets just pray someone can save the club. If it does go under a million and one people all have varying shares of blame whether they meant something to happen or not. I'm not saying there hasn't been mismanagement, there clearly has, but the recession on top of everything else has shafted us good and proper!
  5. Is there a danger here that Lowe and Wilde will come in and buy SLH/SFC back for a cursory sum and actually consolidate their hold on the club. Didn't Ken Bates do this at Leeds? Surely it means someone needs to come in with a better offer than the gruesome twosome may or may not put together? Or am I missing something?
  6. Thank you for your email. Allowing our season ticket holders 2 tickets for this game is a way of rewarding them for their loyalty. Given that we have 10, 000 season ticket holders, the policy will mean a maximum of 20,000 tickets sold. After the away end has been taken into consideration, this leaves nearly 8,000 seats to sell. If we remove the corporate area from this, that leave 6,500 tickets. We have 5000 members, so there will be plenty of tickets for all who wish to come. I do hope this makes the policy a little clearer Best wishes David David Luker Head of Supporter Services ********************************************************** I hadn't realised the membership base had shrunk quite so much. Anyway its all good. And Scott...why don't you grow up and stop playing the internet warrior? Tit.
  7. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with the ticketing policy that has been put in place for the Manchester United game. It is right that season ticket holders should get priority for tickets over members. However it is not right that season ticket holders should be able to buy tickets for their family and friends over those members that have been attending games this season. It is well documented that many fans are boycotting the club. As a member I have been to many games this season. Yet this ticketing policy will see people getting priority for tickets who: a) are Saints fans who have not attended games this year b) are football fans with no specific allegiance to either team c) are Manchester United fans who know Saints fans All of the above will potentially have access to tickets before loyal members simply on the basis of their knowing season-ticket holders. I would suggest that if these people want tickets they should have been attending matches this season in the first place. I do not disagree with your pricing or your decision to link ticket sales to other games. However offering two tickets to season ticket holders is not fair. You should have discounted the tickets sold to season ticket holders and then charged higher prices to non-members to off-set the overall difference in revenue. This way you would have rewarded season-ticket holders for their loyalty and investment and also ensured that members get priority over those people who have not attended games or become members. Supporting Saints has hardly been a pleasant or enjoyable experience for the last few seasons. To effectively tell people who have consistently been to games both home and away that they are less valuable to the club than the friends and family of season ticket holders who are not members and have not been attending games themselves is not fair. Yours sincerely, Super Ken
  8. I'm thinking of subscribing to Saints TV so I can listen to the matchday commentary. Does anyone subscribe and if so what is the service like? The FAQs on the website hint that there are sometime delays to the feed but its not entirley clear whether its just time-delayed or if there are intermittent delays throughout. Any comments would be great - I've got a PC running Vista. Cheers.
  9.
