    Default ashes cricket 2009

bought it today on PS3, first impressions are, i like it :-)

Good responsive batting, and bowling seems to have all the variations, want to see how the pitches change throughout a 5 day game.

I might even get it for the wii too, looks like it could be fun

Saw the advert this morning for the Wii version, looks like a contender for this weekends frivolous purchase.

Dont think so Scummer, certainly its not listed under the games that currently utilise it.

have played a five day game now, love the use of hawkeye and the pitch map. The pitch does change over the 5 days as you would exect. Will definately get this for the wii too

ok, played mine quite a bit now and i have to say its not as good as 1st thought. The fielding is lame, at time its almost as if they are running on the spot as the ball trickles past them. The difference in levels between "easy" and "normal" is massive, almost impossible to get the ball away, as for "hard", forget it!
The pitches all behave the same, with the cracks in the same place every time.

Its an ok game at best which surprises me with codemasters behind it (Brian Lara cricket). Here's hoping they or someone else improve on this.

It's hardly improved on the last Brian Lara game, I feel.

Didnt like this for the ps3 at all. Bought it from Game for £40, lost the receipt so flogged it on ebay a day later for £30. Very disappointed. Cricket 2005 was awesome for the PS2, an updated version of that would be exccellent
