    Lightbulb Saints memorabilia

A while back someone asked about the old Dell Supporters Club badge I use for my avatar and where they might get one. Well there are 2 on ebay at the moment.

As this thread isn't going to be going far, i'd like to say Happy Birthday to Weston Saint Now a fully pledged youngster.

Slightly off subject but i have a leather football signed by the 1976 squad, won in a raffle in 76. Do you think it would be worth anything?

Speaking of memorabilia does anyone have an '87 third kit (White Hummel with Draper Tools over 2 lines) or an '89 third kit (Yellow Hummel with DRAPER in a black rectangle)?

They remain the holes in my shirt collection (yes I amd very sad). I'm not even sure they were ever available - never seen the '89 kit but saw someone wearing the '87 one at QPR a couple of years ago so there's at least one of them out there.

Not worth a bean mate. I'll take it off your hands and skip it for you if you like.

No but seriously, look on ebay for all sorts of Saints and other memorabilia and you should get some idea of it's worth. Frankly I'd give it to the club if you weren't intending to keep it.

I have the '89 white one with the '89 yellow one's sponsor on it (and wore it to St Mary's on Tuesday for the first time)... not as illustrated. I've never seen the '87 white kit.

I knew I should have mugged that bloke at Loftus Road to get the '87 white kit - never seen it before or since

I have a packet of grass seed signed by Derek Statham (I saw him at the garden centre in West End). Can someone please tell me how much this might be worth now? My grandma is in serious need of an operation and I fear for her if she doesn't get it done soon, so will have to go private. I have treasured this piece of memorabilia for years but I think it is time to part with it for the sake of my nan's health. It'll be a wrench to get rid of it but I am hoping that it will pretty much cover the cost of my nan's operation (we are talking around £5,000). I know we have some experts on Saints memorabilia on here, can someone please give me an estimate?

Has she not gotten any better mate? Send her my best.

I'd happily pledge ₤5 to her. Maybe other Saints fans would too. She's a wonderful lady who does a great deal for the local cummunity - I'm talking true heroine - and never fails to raise a smile (she was a bit of a hit back in the day from all accounts ).

If we can raise over a thousand for such a trivial cause as a player sponsorship or some old player from years ago, we should easily get her over the brink.

    Sticky Please Mods!

That white 87/88 kit was only ever worn a few times. Liverpool at Anfield on the last away game of that season was one occasion I remember its outing. I think Rod Wallace got a cracker of an equaliser that game (1-1).

BTW, do you have the all red shirt of the 1980s variety, as worn at places such as QPR with red socks? That must be as rare as hens teeth..

FWIW I have the training sweatshirt from 1989/90; an all red effort with the badge in the middle and the word "SAINTS" underneath....a quality item that reminds me of those Shearer, Le Tiss, Flowers, Rod Wallace days

No wonder you don't see it around much!

Ah, the old Statham bird seed packet scam eh? Listen matey, I get spam e-mail offering this very same collectors' item every bloody day! The first time I coughed up £1200 and it wasn't even real bird seed!

The thread does remind me though that I have a picture of the Saints squad 1975, most of if not all of the cup winning team, signed by most of the players in the stand at Farton Park! They were watching a veteran's game before playing a friendly there. This would be worth a fortune but I can't prove it was signed at FP as it was a picture of them at The Dell! A genuine item but it was partly where it was signed that makes it so precious and I don't know if buyers would take my word on this.

Bids start at....................**** me, going on Kardeem's prices about £20k? I mean "start at" too :-)

I've got a 2008/09 shirt signed by the whole squad from that year. Any idea on values lol?
Also, I've got a signed photo of Theo Walcott when at Saints, Andrew Surman when at Saints (with a hand-written letter from him) plus lots more signed pics. Any idea on values for these??
