He is certainly an improvement on Wotton in pretty much every area (mobility, tackling, positioning, passing) but he didn't exactly look like a class player. His passing was sometimes a bit rushed and I would like to think it wasn't one of his better performances.
It was his first game with new team mates and I'm sure that element will improve, as will his attacking contribution as he developes an understanding with James.
Definitely a positive signing and the sort of player we needed. If he brings the best out of James and/or Schneiderlin then that will be excellent news for us.
I think we just need an out-and-out wide player to finish the midfield off now.
