    Default Electronic Repairs

    Ive got an old Sony stereo amp that got damaged when we moved house recently. I don't want to replace it if I can help it so does anyone knoe of anywhere reliable and reasonable who does repairs? I tried one place that Sony recommended in Bevois Valley but they wanted £30 just to look at it!

    £30 to look seems like a reasonable cost to me

    £30 is probably about right to take a look at it. Unfortunately electronics repairs are almost non existent as all electrical goods are designed to be throw away

    £30 is OK nowadays. besides, the Sony may be worth the trouble, and they will include the £30 in the repair, not make it additional to.
