Thread: Stealing another mans girlfriend

  1. #1

    Default Stealing another mans girlfriend

    Is it frowned upon?

Is it acceptable if he is not a mate?

Is it unacceptable if he is a mate?

What are your views on the subject?

Frown upon it? I certainly would, especially if the guy concerned is a mate. There are some bridges you do not cross and that is one of them.

If there really is something between 'you' (I assume this is about a situation you are currently in, appologies if i'm wrong) and the girl. And if you are not hurting anyone close to you by getting together with her and the prior relationship ending then it is still dodgy, but not terrible.

Massive no if it is a mate's girlfriend.

If it isn't a mate's bird then it's fine. Especially if he is a stupid wannabe gangsta with a stupid name. It's more than fine IMO, and fun.

In my humble opinion the she is fair game if you don't know the bloke, if you know the bloke but not really mates then it depends what he is like, if he is a tit then it's fine.

The only no in my opinion is mates.

    +1

Stealing usually denotes removal of property or ideas without the owner's permission.

Try explaining to a girlfriend or wife that she is your property & I think you'll get a fairly graphic answer to your own question!

How do you deal with the issue of the 'Ex' getting a little too up close and personal with you about it?

    Stranger or not.

Would you be happy with a total stranger stealing your girlfriend?

Just thoughts that come from the initial question.

I have lots of friends. They are all children though, which is why I said no.

Out of interest, why do you ask DBP? Is it on behalf of a friend, or do you have something in mind? Perhaps you are thinking about a career in politics?

How do you stand with not stealing her but borrowing her a few times?

I find it unlikely that a guy like you, Stu, is ever going to be in the position to have a mate, girlfriend or both.

I think Stu wrote "girlfriend" when he meant to write "dinner"

As long as I get what i want, then she can **** who she wants. As long as it doesn't affect me getting my sack emptied then I wouldn't be too worried.

If it's a live in partner or married, then the rules of engagement change of course.

I think if she is married or got kids etc then should be a total no. Don't be a home wrecker as that is just lame.
But if they are not happy in the relationship and the guy is a douche , their not married etc then all is fair in love and war!
But if its a friend then no, you don't want to cross that line!

still doesn't explain why stu wrote 'mate' in his opening post.

maybe we could just put that down to wishful thinking on stu's part.

I would think family was another area off-limits, best not to make a move on your brothers/fathers/uncles/etc bird

WHat about if your mate goes away for a few months? Is it doing the right thing to service his missus? I mean, after all, women have needs too?

  29. Default

see if you can give it to her in installments stu

The subject, deserving it's own thread, should be:

DBP is he StanDune or StuRomseyRant in disguise?

    Remember your promise to me!

What about if you know the bloke, it is his birthday, and his missus has said that she is working late to get out of seeing him, then starts an argument over nothing, just so she has an excuse to ignore him.

In the meantime she is sat cuddled up with you on your sofa?

    Is that wrong?

ah, now this is different. She doesnt want him so must be honest and tell him. Then, go for it (once the bed sheets have cooled down though)

"Stealing" another mans bird is off limits, but borrowing her is a different matter.

I'm going to stay single because 'I am not ready for a relationship' apparently, then at least I won't get hurt. Ha.
And I'm not a cast off.

This thread seems to be going slightly off-topic and has the potential to turn into one of the great personal arguments to come out on Saintsweb, worthy of Golden Posts.
