Dear Mods/Admin,

Thank you very much for returning the right of thread-starting to registered users. I think it is a good idea and in the right spirit of the messageboard to allow this. It now seems fair to me that registered users get three posts and paid-up members get unlimited.

The messageboard has been following a 'new era' policy which I admire and will do a lot to repair some of the damage of past mistakes made by the mods and admin of this previously excellent site and service.

However, there is still one thing that I think is unfortunate. My account has been prohibited from both viewing and posting on the main board for coming on a year now. I used to have a lot of infractions but I behaved for a long time and now I have none. I do not see it written anywhere in your rules that people will get banned from even viewing the main board due to any such offence. I still think it is not right that I am banned from the main board, even if I was a fool in the past.

I have been on these messageboards for over ten years now. This is the greatest injustice I have suffered, and no Mod or Admin has ever explain or even conversed with me about this main-board bannign decision, never even explaining why it happened in the first place or when it would expire, if ever.

I would like some sense of why this has happened, if it will ever expire, and/or what I need to do to end this unjust main-board injunction.

What did you do to get banned in the first place? If you're still barred after a year I guess the site owners must have thought it pretty serious, but a years a long time to harbour a grudge.

I am happy for the reason(s) whatever they are to be posted on this thread for all to see.

Interesting that the mods moved this from the Lounge to the Muppet Show but still haven't graced me with a response or reason as to why I am excluded.

I think the mods really need to justify these bans or swallow their pride and lift them, it's starting to look a bit petty and personal now, especially moving what is a pretty sensible and serious comment from the lounge into the Muppet Show just out of spite.
Kadeem and Atticus are pretty harmless. Let them back, then if they earn a ban, ban them.

Update for everyone:

I was banned from the main board with no explaination or any sort of correspondence with the Mods/Adin on here about a year ago.

The same happened to Kadeem Hardison at around the same time.

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to speak to the mdos on here about it, as discussed above. No one has been forthcoming. I believe KH has tried the same.

Anyway, skip forward to yesterday. Boj started this thread: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...est-of-england in the Lounge.

Kadeem mentioned that he lived in the North of England. Boj got back to him straight away, saying that he would return KH's right to access the mainoard, provided that Kadeem did him some sort of weird favour involving collecting sand.

I continue to receive no comment from anyone, including Boj.

So there we have it. The rules are just changed at random, such as handing out a weird and unusual punishment such as banning mainboard access wth no comment/explaination/timespan.

The rules also change back, arbitrarily, provided you do the Admins a favour.

Why is this important to anyone except me or KH? Because the same could happen to you. Or anyone on here.

Tiggs obviously wants to visit the mainboard. If trading's the in thing on here at the mo, perhaps he could exchange his mainboard banning for banning of another forum instead. Personaly I've wanted his ass off 'Technology Chat' for months.

He hasn't denied PMing the request at all. All he's said is that he didn't offer the main board rights back. Sounds to me he probably said something like "we'll consider letting you back if you do this" and is falling back on this now.

He finds it difficult to reconcile what his mind fixes itself upon to be true with what actually happens in the world. i.e., it is convenient for his mind to pigeonhole anything you or I do into the 'wind-up' category, because it cannot cope with it being anything different. It perhaps doesn't work on other levels - who knows? It isn't for me to say. But he certainly cannot work outside of his own fixed ideas on things, that's for sure. For example, he says he never reported any Deppo posts, yet during the week leading up to the beginning of September there were 15 reported posts in total on SWF. hypochondriac made 5 of those reports - all for Deppo's posts. Interestingly, he denies this and will continue to deny this, I'd imagine. Although let's not write off the fella yet. Perhaps his mind does have capabilities outside of its own comfortable levels. The powers of the mind can astound us sometimes.

I don't think we should take it to that level, norwaysaint. Hypochondriac has plenty to offer this place. Indeed, without the likes of him, plenty of Deppo's humour wouldn't work on the levels that it does.

I keep thinking that one day I will wake up and the whole 'Being banned from the Mainboard' will have all been a dream.

I still pray for the day that I can log on to the mainboard and see Alpine being negative, Guided Missile being libellous, and everyone else calling for the sacking of whoever our manager is (I think it might be Burley) every time we concede a goal, even if we are winning.

I'd love to have seen all the wrist-slitting when we went behind at Exeter, or when the Daily Mail kept telling us that Oxlade-Chamberlain was going here, there and everywhere. To think, Oxlade-Chamberlain was still in nappies when I last saw the main board.

None of you f*ckers care because you can all SEE the mainbaord. None of you f*ckers care because this gross injustice and web of lies and cover-ups that Baj is spewing out on these forums don't affect you - yet.

It makes my blood boil to see *****s like Dune who have been banned about 6 and a half million times from racism and fascism is still allowed to post, and presumably still see the mainboard.
