Looks like we never learned from the last experience then started over!! I'm a bit confused about this game to be honest. I'm not sure what to take from it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm VERY happy! I'm just not sure that we have improved our away form today. I hope I am proved wrong in the future. I would LOVE to be wrong!

Edit: Having said that, putting Guly up front might be the diff for us.

Absolutely amazing. Stunning. I can't even explain how I feel - Dalek think Adkins is as good as Hoddle! Unbelievable.

    Oh and well done Saints

I think everyone we've played have said this.

Good to hear - we're not just luckily snatching results, we're comprehensively winning games.

Good going forward. Suspect at the back, but only when we have a 2 goal lead. We need to start scoring our 3rd goal sooner IMO. Ha, what a lovely problem to have.

credit to Coventry - they made a game of it, but class shone through in the end

Was expecting a win from that as Coventry are struggling, but after a really good comeback from them, Im absolutely chuffed to win that.

So, was that good management or good players that won us the game?

How the heck did West Ham win 2-0?

They only had 2 shots on target, Hull had 14!

It is good to be at the top, but it is how many points clear of the third place team that really counts, so watch the Boro !

Yeah, the BBC reporter was saying throughout the game that Hull were all over West Ham. That's football I guess

Last couple of matches have had a stern lesson in each - in the past we probably would've failed in each - however, this team took 6 points. Happy.

Could be that "Brazilian" is a bastardised form of Portuguese just like "American" is a derivative of English.

Great spirit to come back and win but I wonder what would have happened if it had gone 3-2 Coventry. Good result but we did let a poor side back in the game far too easily. It's not the first time. We haven't got punished anywhere near as much as we could have been, obviously having a huge goal threat ourselves helps.

Well done Guly for being involved in just about every saints goal recently. We surely have to aim for 100 league goals this season don't we? Hope we had a word with jutkeiwicz after the game too. He'd be a really useful player.

On the way back from the game. If ever a match showed how momentum is important it was this one. We totally controlled the first half with Coventry only faintly competitive for a 10 minute spell before we went in front. They had absolutely no answer to our possession football and looked one-dimensional. In the second half they went a lot more direct and gave us a lot of trouble, but if they hadn't scored early we would have won easily. They had something to bite on after that and at 2-2 we looked wobbly. It was a shocker of an equalizer as well. However, Adkins made a great sub, sending on Hammond for Chaplow, and, as usual when Hammond's on the pitch, we got a lot tougher to play against. As soon as we went back in front we were always going to win. Man of the match was Guly though. His movement was superb and he looked a constant threat. He got a well deserved goal from a great cross from Fox. No-one was really off their game today, although a few faded in the second half. Lallana will be fully fit after the break, I reckon. Onwards though - a deserved win in the end and a great day to end the away winless run.

Ttally agree with above. Guly was awesome and Coventry couldn't deal with him. Great team spirit when 2-2 buckled down and turned it on again could have had more goals. We certainly look like a team that is top of the league. Great afternoon felt sorry for Coventry fans having to watch that every week. Also a word for the travelling fans great support well done. Cant wipe the smile off my face.

Years of supporting Saints told me we were going to lose that one 3-2 the moment they pulled one back - forgot for a moment that this Saints team is the business!!!

Great win - get in there!!!!

Yep. I'd totally agree with that. Thought just the same. What a difference Nigel has made!

Stood waiting for a bus. Got caught cold beginning of 2nd half, fortuitous equaliser, then we took control. Seen us play better but we ran the show for the majority of the game

Derby tripping up was a nice bonus.

Can't see Watford getting anything from Boro but stranger things have happened.
