I went to look at 07 Passat this morning, it was priced at 4k all seemed good, mileage was just over the 100k
Drove fine, plenty of poke in it, everything worked fine, interior and exterior were all good, engine sounded sweet.
I was just about to shake on it, but thought I would do an HPi check and have a think on the way home.
HPi states last recorded mileage 04/11 was 163000 !! Mmmmm so what's happened in the last 14 months

So yes get your cars HPi checked
