Just confirms what I thought in that it is a PR piece and would be a good thing to show potential sponsors or corporate clients.

Stirring music, and then they show our special needs fans in face paint and it becomes farcical.

The red box has gone brown in the video. Looks like a giant shed.

It's only a DVD Jamie, the acid test will be the catering, and we still don't have a radio station.

Some kind of radio station/catering facility combo?

Wouldn't a broom cupboard suffice for the radio station, and hospitality without a view of the pitch doesn't make sense. It's probably a Gala bingo hall draw in people from Shirley.

Quite correct! Could well be the case though I reckon we would be more likely to sell after establishing ourselves in the Premiership as tat would be when we get the best price

Well that stirred the pride I have in the Saints for what they have given us over the last coupe of years, it also tweaks the hope and expectations for our future. Good work SFC.

It had Cortese on it for about 10 seconds. Therefore, I am going to pretend I don't like the bloke or that he is the Dictator of Southampton for attention on forums.

The fact of the matter is that we've never had it so good, so think before you jump up and down and criticize how things are done.

There's nothing not to like about that video, it's positive and the majority of things in that video are actually happening - so it's not just PR spin.

I don't think it's just PR spin, I just wouldn't be surprised if the primary motivation for the video was for PR purposes and to attract sponsors and more corporate clients- and that isn't a bad thing.

Yes i agree. Some good bits in it but a lot of talking up the chairman and what a great job he is doing. That was all a bit unnessasary to be honest.

It's been sent out to thousands of regular fans though, so I doubt that's the primary motivation. I'd say it's more along the lines of the club building on the feel good factor and communicating their plans for the future with the fans. That's how I see it anyway.

I'm pretty sure they have lots of corporate spin which we never see.

Most hospitality in Wembley, Arsenal etc doesn't have a view of the pitch, it's not just about corporate boxes anymore. Unlike you at least the people from Shirley (whatever you mean by that) leave their bedroom.

Sending it to fans is a good bit of PR but IMO the DVD and that PDF file from the other day looks and reads like a device to attract corporate sponsors and for the business community. Again it's just my opinion.

I just think its nice that the club are talking up the fans. To some extent I think they see that as a self fulfilling prophesy.

It more than just the red box, there is a lower building that sweeps around the Chapel stand and connects to the red box.

How i wish i could be a great guy like yourself and be able to resort to calling people *****s on internet mong boards because i dont agree with their opinion on something. As i said there was a lot of good stuff in it, but I felt there was an underlying theme of self congraulation from Cortese, plenty of "what a great guy the chairman is" type quotes. Which IMO is a bit unessasary, he is doing a great job, we dont need it rammed down our throats everytime anyone from the club speaks.

With cash converters, Aldi, and the new Gala bingo at the Cortese Dome the worlds their oyster. Judith Chalmers was recently filming for the next series of wish you were here from the mutant mile.
