I'd always go for the classic Louis Armstrong version, that's best for me!

It'll be embarrassing as they sing it much better than us.

It may be true but don't ever admit this to any Spurs fans

We've definitely got slightly better at it recently, was suprised at how good it sounded when I watched the Coventry game back on TV.

How many versions are there out there?

Perhaps we should have a sticky so that we can aim to list most if not all of them (with links) - before our Premiership first match.

I would love it if the club played a different version each week before the players came out.

For the record, my favourites are by Fats Domino and the George Lewis New Orleans Band. Humphrey Littleton did a pretty hot one too.

Didn't the team used to run out to a slightly disco version of it (circa 2003)

We certainly need to reclaim it as ours

Elvis did a version. It's on an album my mate has. I stuck it on while djing at our Xmas do one year because our boss was a skate. He wasn't happy.

    40 seconds into this.

Traditional all the way for me. I hate the fast version and I hate the slow Spurs version. This is how it should be sung.

Only because the nauseating slow version they sing is marginally better than the chavy fast version we sing, and now we've started singing the nauseating slow version and the chavy fast version. I remember when we used to sing it properly (as in my video above).

Cant stand that 'SPURS' version its sounds so fake ,almost forced.

i prefer the saints original , theres plenty of saints clips on youtube . does what it says on the tin, it gets the job done .thats all that matters.

Its funny, an old Spurs friend claims its their song for the terraces. Apparently they sang it before started singing it. I know its bull, but whatever the truth is and Whatever the Spurs fans claims to the ownership of the Song "Oh When the Saints" (or Spurs, as they sing it) are. They can't change the FACT the original words are "Oh when the SAINTS go marching in" and anything they change it in to will never alter that
