My Start Incredibar

Every week or so, my FireFox seems to get itself a little something known as My Start Incredibar as its default search engine. Most annoyingly when you open a new tab, type in what it is you want to search for in the address bar, instead of using google it goes to the My Start Incredibar. When there are a number of tabs open in one browser it causes FireFox to lock up for long periods before asking if I want to "Stop Script" or Continue.

I've got the various virus and spyware programmes recommended in the sticky in this part of the forum. SUPER Anti Spyware seems to eventually remove it but it is getting annoying. I can't even get into the about.config part of FireFox without it taking me to the bloody Incredibar!

So, is there anyway I can get rid of this bloody search function and keep it off my FireFox?

In case anyone was wondering, a mate of mine sent me this

which seems to solve the problem. Just incase anyone else is unfortunate enough to suffer with this.
