Until it was run around the Salisbury area, i had naively thought that there were people running the whole route not getting on and off a coach. hardly the Olympic spirit

We were unable to see it on Saturday, due to my sons absence from the country on a school trip, but he wanted to see it, so went to Fareham. It was about as exciting as I'd expected (although the bloke running in the mankini preceeding the torch kept my Mrs interested ), but the kids enjoyed seeing their bit of history.

As an aside I'm happy say I saw 4 Saints shirts to 2 skates.

An old SF poster prideofthesouth (not seen him post for ages now) is running a leg tonight in fact, and two other mates of mine ran legs in the last few days.
