Thread: Any news about Whitey?

  1. Default Any news about Whitey?

Just wondering if anyone has any news about Whitey Grandad and how his operation went?

I don't know him but as an oldie myself I hope he is doing well after his operation.

Not a lot to report. Operation last Wednesday, four bypass grafts later and I was let home this Monday. The usual scar down the breastbone and the longest one you have ever seen from the inside of my left ankle to the inside top of my left thigh and uncomfortably close to the important bits. Luckily I'm right-footed and only use my left to stand on. My ribs hurt, I've got numb bum from sitting all day but I'm alive and there's golf, cricket and Tour de France on the tele. Thanks for asking. I shall post up my angiogram scans when I'm more mobile.

    Cheers all!

Hey Whitey, gotta say the first day they made me get up after my operation was one of the worst pains ever, that bad I would not wish it even on a skate. But it got easier every day. PS do not forget Saints on at 3pm next Saturday.

Fair play to you Whitey, just take care, do what the specialists say and you'll be good for another long run.
