Simple way to backup photos from iPhone to PC

Ive got approx 10GB of photos on my iPhone and I want to get the stored on the ol' PC so I can bin them and clear some space on the phone.

Anything I can do to do this easily and quickly? Copy n Paste from the folder to folder doesnt seem to want to work.

Hi Pancakes! Dunno how it is with you but when I plug in my iphones my computer is sometimes like "Hello what is dat you just plugged in?" and then I'm using the scanner and camera wizrd thing and it is easily copying my photos onto the computer. They is still on iPhones though. I spose you could delete them off there afters. Or get bigger iPhones!

Dont you just connectb the iphone to the pc using a usb cable and then select the appropriate drive?
