So to sum it up for Arsenal away, first priority is those who have been to Man City and both home games (whether ST holder or not) then season ticket holders in general, then non-season ticket holders who have done both home games, then general sale.
Don't think it'll even get past season ticket holders personally.

A mate of mine was advertising a coach on here for £19 return and had pretty much zero interest in it. A Sunday out at the Etihad would probably work out cheaper than an all dayer in the capital on a Saturday.

Bar Reading, Fulham and Wigan - there isn't another club in the PL that would fail to sell out this game if they were in the same position and people on here are quick to mock those 3x teams for their support.

It's great that you go home and away. It's great that you obviously can easily afford to do so. And your England games. For me, paying £50 to go and watch football when it is on telly is just a non starter.

From a personal point of view, I cant afford Man C and Arsenal. If I go to man C, I'll end up listening to Arsenal on the radio, whereas if I go to arsenal I'll be able to watch Man C on the TV. Added to that sat 3pm in London is easier than Sun 4pm in Manchester, it's a bit of a no brainer for me. I realise that this approcah may not qualify me as a saints Forum Superfan, but I'll live with that.

The fact that the fans that do go to City,and both home games get priority (for Arsenal) over S/T holders like me who aren't going to City, is a great step in the right direction. Much better than last years "mate of a S/T holder" being near the top of the list.

Doing England away I mix with fans of other clubs a lot and just get a bit sick of having to put up with them having a pop at our support - which despite what people here think of us, is generally regarded as pretty poor by the vast majority of clubs.

Its not a problem its common sense. I'll be going to less games this year as its more expensive and away games I don't generally travel too far up north unless I make a weekend of it as its too much of a trek. I suppose I'm a terrible fan :mad:

Why? It's costing me £80 for me & my nipper before anything else. Only reason we're doing it is to guarantee Arsenal as it's the only London game I'm doing because of ££. I'll not be alone in going from 18 away games last season to around 10 this, simply because of cost.

Not everyone thinks spunking sh.itloads of ££ for a game you see for free is vital, I certainly don't.

As 1 mate said, "lot of money & a long way to go to watch us get dicked".

I'm going to have to cut my away games down as well. If I dont go to the Sky games, I'll end up seeing more matches (although some will be on telly). I could go to Man C, start waving my extra 5 points around on here, and slag people who didn't go to Manchester off, but what good will that be when I'm listening to Dave Merrington on the sat of the Arsenal game. If I cant get a ticket for the Arsenal game, then so be it, but I'm taking the chance that I'll pick one up. If I dont I will have no complaints.

Same here. Embarrassing when fans of other clubs tell me our support is full of dressed up tw*ts and face painted weirdos. Middlesbrough away was awful for it. These sh*t foreign songs that Palace/Blackpool etc sing are slowly creeping in more and more too, heard it was going on at Bristol City on Tuesday night. Needs to be stamped out asap.

As I said, people with families, work commitments have reasons to miss games. I'm talking about people that WANT to go to the games enough would have known costs would be much higher and could have saved to make sure they could go.

Makes me laugh, in the context of getting Arsenal tickets the extra 5 points makes absolutely no difference!

The categories are :

People who've gone to every match (45)
ST holders who haven't been to City (30)
Non-ST holders who have 30 pts (anyone who has been to 2 matches).

Whether ST holders get 10 or 15 pts for Arsenal makes no difference, they're still "more than 30" either way.

the fans I despair of are the geniuses who have a go at other fans for the level of support that they show, like the utter half wits who had a go at the people in the Q when we were buying Donny tickets, so that we could go to the donny game, and NOT or the pompey tix it would have entitled us to.

At £50 for a run of the mill, once a week football match, (you know, there is another one next week much the same), grounds SHOULD be half full at best.
It is a LOT of money to some people, when job security is no existent.
