Default Saints and Brighton just the same......

    .....according to Dean Hammond

Hammond, who is on a season-long loan at the Amex, won promotion to the Premier League with Saints last season.

He told BBC Sussex: "It's so similar. The depth in the squad we have here is like we had last year at Southampton.

"I couldn't really tell the difference to be honest. We play a similar type of football and [Brighton boss] Gus Poyet likes to keep possession."

What do you expect him to say? "We are good but Southampton had a miles better squad than we do so we probably wont get promoted."

He is trying to get himself a move more like. Permanent.

Very true I just find it funny given the needle between the two clubs the last couple of seasons....

Poor sod, wants to continue living in his newly built house but the nearest suitable club was Brighton.

No Dean, not the same. We never won the league 1 title. Like Gus says..They'll always be remembered for that. We've just got two poxy promotions and playing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea each week

No, don't be so boring, it's better to not understand that the player wants to make alliances and get the fans on-side at his new club where he wasn't liked.

What's the problem? I always thought the Brighton games were top drawer suggesting they were both run the right way and with depth. Of course, we got lucky and now we're moving on to the next level

He's playing for a manager who once said we only hoofed the ball to Lambert!
