    Default Goosebump moments at football

Do you ever see footage of a game and get goosebumps about it? For me camera vs Norwich. Everytime I see it, it just reminds me of the moment.

I have a photo of my 2 Girls with Super Saint at the Millenium Stadium, we were in the second row just to the right behind the goal, the next photo is of a sheer wall towering above us of Yellow & Blue dancing it's face off to Carnival de Paris, that always gets a ripple of the goosebumps.

Collecting the JPT at Wembley. Seeing a man worth billions taking pictures with a £100 camera grinning like crazy.

Somewhere on the internet there must be full highlights of that Norwich 4-3 match. It was unbelievable entertainment. Niemi was out of this world, and the roof nearly came off when we scored the winner. Ultimately meaningless, like Rasiak at Derby, but quite a moment all the same.

Reading that just gave me a pang of regret. How great would it have been to have him here now. Such is life I know.

As Virgil said, and we would all do well to remember
“Death twitches my ear. "Live," he says, "I am coming.”

Matty's "best bits" on the big screen after his testimonial to 'i am the one and only'. That was a truly incredible night.

OWTSGMI ringing all around The Dell when Lawrie's great teams were giving the opposition the runaround.

Not on tv but also Saints v Norwich in 1989. First game after Hillsborough standing in the Milton Road terrace with a five past three minutes silence. Goosebumps and tears. Never forget.

Little Bobby Stokes on May 1st 1976

Every time I see Saints appear out of the tunnel

Watching Adam Lallana's goal against Coventry go in last year and knowing that we were up

Final whistle at Wembley JPT - was with my lad and that was the first thing he'd seen Saints win

Matt's final goal at The Dell

    Marian's goal against the Skates

Stevie Moran's goal at Fatpipes Park

Open top bus footage from May 2nd 1976

    Many more!

I get a lot of goosebumps!!

The first game that Markus attended at St Mary's - the pre-season friendly vs Ajax - when he was introduced to the crowd. The Saints video montage they played while he looked on was both goosebump and lump in throat inducing. My son also caught one of the 'Welcome Markus' t-shirts that the team wore coming onto the pitch which they then took off and threw into the crowd. The realisation of what we'd been through and what the future might hold suddenly hit me right there and then.

Seeing KK playing in a Saints shirt for the first time and MLT's final goal at The Dell.

Matty's goal against Wimbledon in 1994. Just after Branfoot left, horrible day, horrible match. Matty got the free kick played back to him, tees it up for himself and volleys it in. I'm sure there was a milli-second of stunned silence before the crowd went mental. I couldn't beleive that anybody would even attempt that, let alone do it

    And all of the above

I still get a tingly feeling in those few seconds before kick off every time. In the moments between the teams being ready and the ref blowing the whistle

'Yellows' At Cardiff - get choked up just even thinking about that. That was a day for me that transcended the football. We were there to celebrate our team and being Saints fans together whatever the result on the pitch. We did ourselves proud that day.

Many of mine have been listed above, but probably the most goose-bumpy I got was the tribute to Alan Ball.

Has to be the JPT final for me ....to young to remember the FA cup so seeing saints actually win something (in style to) was just a wow moment for me.

The comeback against MK Dons a couple of seasons ago was pretty good to...

Le Tissier's chip against United in the 6-3. The highlights (which I'm sad to say are all I saw of it but had recorded on VHS until the system died out) of the whole game were goosebumpy, but Le Tissier's chip in particular over one of the best (if not the best) Keeper of his day, and against the best team of its day, was extra special. The best player we've had in my generation, with one of his best goals against the best team.

sergio aguero goal that won the title was incredible, even for the neutrals.

when kevin moore made it 2-2 in ZDC at the old wembley that was a spine tingling moment.

Once at St Mary's, what seemed like the whole crowd joined in with the slow rendition of OWTS. There was no clapping, no banging on backboards, just singing, and it was class, that gave me goosebumps. Someone on here at the time said it even bought a tear to his eye or something.

Seeing footage of the Saints fans at Fratton Park going mental after Moran's winner is special!

This video I found the other day of the JPT Final. Also the slow build up of OWTS in the concourse at Middlesbrough last season before we didn't get promoted.
