Perspective please

'not another MP/NA' thread, I hear you cry but please bear with me.

I'm as stunned with the timing of this decision as the next Saints fan and fear it could have disastrous consequences on the rest of the season.

But shedding tears over it? Do me a favour. Of course, we are all different but are you really surprised? How do we know what has really happened behind closed doors? It's just not worth it and the only thing we can do as fans is get on with it and support the team. Yes, it's a shocker but the game we love isn't the same as it used to be.

I'm a big Adkins fan, always have been, always will be but I'm excited by the prospect of another new chapter in our history. If we go down, so be it. If we don't, I expect trousers will have a field day resurrecting the hyperbole of threads spewed out today come mid-May.

For what it's worth, I'm not certain the penned message from NA to the staff is from him, if the Mirror's story is to be believed.

I applaud you, but only because I have done similar in the past. Turns out a lot of the naysayers and bedwetters don't like it though...
