Non League Day - Saturday - Sholing v Havant & Waterlooville - FA CUP

With no Saints game this weekend, a great chance to watch some local grassroots football on National "Non League Day".

Sholing host Havant & Waterlooville in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday 3pm. We are hoping for a big crowd with the visitors from down the M27 (and two leagues above us), probably bringing 100 or so supporters. "Boatmen" will be underdogs, but it's the magic of the Cup and as Havant themselves proved by playing (and leading!) at Anfield in 2008, anything can happen!

Admission is Adults £6 (FA minimum fee), £4 Over 60's & Students (please show card at turnstile) & Disabled, 12-16 £3, U12 Free (with fee paying adult)

Ground is on Portsmouth Road between Sholing & Old Netley (ex-Vospers sportsground). Post Code SO19 9PW. Free Parking. Bar & refreshments available (no alcohol allowed pitchside) . Covered seating & terrace.

Still can't believe the FA impose a minimum admission fee, should be for the clubs to decide themselves. If the away team objects because of their share of the revenue, then someone mediates. Ridiculous situation.

Yep, prevents us from offering our usual £5 admission fee for Saints season ticket holders.
