I think that article is placing too much emphasis on stats as well - I wouldn't call Mane particularly selfish.

we'll have to wait a bit on that verdict, but if he's " only as good as Mane " ....we did get him for half the fee that we received for Mane

I'm not a fan of articles that big up players before they have even played. Let him succeed on his own without all the expectation.

Hatem Ben Arfa was one of the best players in the French league last season - averaged 1 goal per 2 games. In the premiership he averaged 1 in 11 and was pretty damn ordinary.

All I know was that in his first few appearances for us when Mane played he was not getting the rave reviews that Boufal is getting.

He's being compared to a second season Mane in that article it would be better against the first season one.

The lad looks quality only time and the size of liverpools inevitable bid will tell us if he is better than mane! He is a saint for now though so let's enjoy him!

Didn't we say the same about Mane when he first came? Interesting to hear the commentators from Tuesday's game saying Mane was 'not at his best tonight'. His co-commentator replied 'yes, just like saturday....' Sound familiar?

Boufal is absurdly talented. One he gets up to speed in the Prem, he's going to be awesome. When we sell him it will be for a lot more than Mane. Fact. (Ish). COYR
