Is it time for Kat to sell?

Thanks for everything... you and your father will have a massive part in our clubs history but it's starting to hold us back.

If this lack of investment / ambition continues for 2 or 3 years, all the hard work in the last 7 could be wasted. There's no hiding the fact that in the PL you need to invest to maintain position, let alone improve.

Hopefully when she does sell it goes to someone with the best intentions for the club.

Not one to bedwet but in reality our business model is not sustainable if we want to consistently be a top 10+ club.

Trouble is it all depends who buys us, devil you know and all that. We had a bad window last summer in hindsight and we are suffering now, but should she wish to stay I believe she will do the right thing. Reed has lost a bit of credibility recently, it's been tough, but he needs to stop believing his own hype and get his finger out.

Glad you've sussed that smart businesswomen base their decisions on games against Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

Devil you know? Are you kidding? She and Markus have been absolutely phenomenal. They've revolutionised our club.

The simple matter is, if we want to progress we need money. Kat isn't providing said money.

She &a Markus have done an incredible job (I wander how different things would have been if he was still around), but as a fan who invests 100's if not 1000's into the club every year, is it not fair to expect want to progress.

We've been lucky the last 2 seasons but it only takes 1 or 2 bad windows for that to change.

Jesus....this board is a haven for fücktards!

But you come back daily?

Definitely preferred you as AK-47 mate (miss those ITK snippets)

In response to the OP - I imagine she is actively looking to sell. She has very very little interest in her dads project

Youre a fantasist and a WUM. Have you asked Katerina this personally? What did she say? If your answer is no the how do you arrive at this conclusion?

Our business model is consistent growth. We've got further in Europe than last season and further in the League Cup than last season. That's going to have an effect on the league, but now we're out of the Europa League we'll see what happens when we're not playing more games.

As for Katharina selling, we are excellently financially managed without it being at the expense of success, and there are very few clubs as well run as us. There are thousands of bloody awful money-waving idiots out there happy to completely balls up the same job if you want one of them. It's precisely why we've done well just by being organised and well run.

What part of 'The Southampton Way' don't you understand? Two words - sustainable growth (emphasis on the first word). Luck has very little to do with it.

Actually yesterday, Inter away, and Leicester winning the Premier League all showed that luck very much has something to do with it, irrespective of our attempts to grow and improve, which I think we're successfully doing.

There will come a time when our success from being competent is overtaken by everyone else finally getting on board with it though. Innovation soon becomes the norm.
