Outlook help

I know there's a tech forum but it doesn't look to be used that well.

 

I need to set up a rule within outlook for a POP3 account whereby a template email is sent each time an email is received.

 

I've followed the process as you would expect but it just isn't working.

 

Anyone got any ideas as to why, and how to fix it?

Trust you are leaving the client machine on with Outlook running? Can you get any other rules working?

 

Client machine?

 

We're running laptops - and the machine I've added the rule to is on and outlook is open.

 

I sit next to the laptop and and the message but no response is received back?
