Saints lack ambition, We have let to many good players leave and have inadequately strengthened especially in attacking positions. Our manager is dull, uninspiring and rotates the team far to much. No wonder we are so inconsistent in terms of play with all the continuous juggling of players and tactics...

As a team currently we have to many journeymen and players which we are told should have massive potential however the reality is even though they have had a few seasons in the premiership to develop and kick on the return they have given the team has been pretty abysmal.

We are being lied to, with unrealistic expectations of pushing for champions league that moment has passed. The continue dismantling of the spine of the team season after season and replacing Steak with Mince and gambling on potential players becoming the next best thing is costing us. What we are seeing now is that momentum switching and coming back to bite us.

Looking forward we should be building the team around Boufal and Van D. We need to stop gambling and get in some proven premiership players who can hit the ground running and give us a return straight away.

Everyone take a ****ing break. We are in the Premier League with good players coming through the academy, 90 mins away from Wembley.

To many journeyman????? I dont think we have any journeymen, maybe our third choice goalie? A journeyman is someone who jumps from club to club on a regular basis and is at the wrong end of their career. If you mean Steven Davis then no - we signed him from Rangers at his peak, at a point when he was captaining the biggest Scottish team and his country. Fonte is also not a journey man as he has been with us for what 8 years?

Yeah Journeyman is wrong word to use. Been guilty of it myself on occasion where I have actually meant; hard working jack of all trade players, solid all round premiership footballers but with nothing in their locker to raise them above their peers and regularly effect outcome of games with singular moments of brilliance.

The idea really was that certain comments have been the accepted truth ie Koeman didn't play youngsters , Morgan moved from Saints for Champions League football at Man U and is now saying he is moving to Everton because they aspire to CL ! Man C would win the Prem as they got rid of safety first Pell and installed Guardiola who for the first few games the "bees knees" Finally top 6 teams could buy and keep the top players unlike mid table Saints etc ...
