Thread: Show your support - Forest at home

  1. Default Show your support - Forest at home

We simply HAVE to win next Saturday.

We are fortunate to still be 4 points away from the drop zone after today.

I truly believe the players benefit from having a noisy following and so we need to get behind them for this MASSIVE game.

Tickets have been reduced, so should encourage a few extra to go. We need to turn out in force.

We have shown we CAN play good football at times, we just need to find some consistency.

As hard as it can be, we HAVE to keep the faith and support the boys.

Get behind the team, get to St Mary's next Saturday and cheer them on to 3 valuable points.

    Bailey,

    I'm with you, COYR!!

    I'll be there as usual.

  4. Default Lowe protests

I think fans have every right to protest against Lowe if they feel that's right to do so.

However, doing it during the game is NOT going to help improve the performance on the pitch.

For the 90 minutes, we need to be right behind the boys from the off, show them our support and sing our hearts out.

If we do that, you'll see players running that extra yard and playing with pride and passion.

Keep SMS to the 15,000 loyals thanks.

Thankfull for the loyals of course, however, we need more than just us 'few', those that go on Saturday be them tight wads, plastics, in a position to do so due to finishing for Christmas whatever...consider, would we be in both the financial and table position if you came a few more times to support OUR team ?
F uck the politics of it all get down to St Marys on Saturday to demonstrate the level of support we know we can get in this town for our team

Only 5000 tickets left according to the Ticket Office yesterday morning! Should be a sell out (or very close to one!).

I've still got 2 season tickets but i would consider myself being more of a gimp than the stayaways!

I'm hating this season, I sit there bored stiff. Lowe has killed our club, we have no manager, no team, no corners, he's turnt the whole club into a "plastic club" it's dead!

Stayaways, for what it's worth your more than welcome, if nothing else its forced Lowe into re-opening the Itchen corner so for me, and maybe for only the one game, i will enjoy a decent football atmosphere!!!

Corners are closed still though right?

Will be strange to see the ground pretty much full with three empty corners.

Face it, even if we do somehow break down their 11 men behind the ball tactics, we are going down. I would suggest that if we are losing at half time then the whole crowd walks out. Its the only way some people will get the message.

I guess with corners closed, so 21,000 sold?! I find that hard to believe but great if true.

Oh really? I'm suprised, would have thought there would have been something about the corners on the OS.

That's good news, hopefully we actually play well and maybe a few people will come back for some more games.

Bring out negative chants from 1.30 - 2.55
Bring on the positive noise from 2.56 - 4.55 to roar the boys on to victory
Then if more anti Lowe/ Boardroom other hated figures need abuse do it after the last saints player has left the pitch

    Remember the xmas carol
Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way oh what fun it is to see SAINTS win again hey

obviously prob best not tostart singing this till couple goals up with 2 secs to go while ball is as far up field as poss

If this is true, it shows how stupid the normal ticketing policy is!

why haven't the former residents been given the option to reclaim their old seats as they were for Manure?

someone email the ticket office and see how many have been sold because I doubt that we only have 5,000 left.

Tbh Stu, I think that's a rather silly statement to make. In forthcoming seasons you could be saying:

Keep SMS to the 9,500 loyals thanks.

    then:

Keep SMS to the 3,500 loyals thanks.

    then:

Keep Silverlake to the 1,500 loyals thanks.

How much lower should we go..? Saints are NOT a closed shop or cliche club. The more supporters, the better it gets. I remember, not so long ago, not being able to get a ticket because it was sell-out after sell-out. I'd honestly prefer it that way again.

I have absolutely no problem with this whatsoever. If people wish to protest then that is perfectly fine, just so long as their actions don't have an adverse effect on the team's performance on the pitch. If this were to happen, Lowe and co. would get the message and the players would know THE FANS are right behind them.

The bloody team has to be sorted if we are going to beat Notts Forest. Something along the lines of:-

    --------------------Davis
    Cork-------Perry------------Pearce-------Skacel
    James------Euell------------Surman-------BWP
    --------------------Lallana
    --------------------McGoldrick

Assuming Schneiderlin injured, Holmes not ready, could consider leaving out Lallana and play Euell in the hole with Wotton and Surman in midfield.

We need a right side, Lallana has recently been picked there, but doesn't play there, so it's striker or out as far as I'm concerned.

I've supported Saints for 50+ years and this is as bad as it has ever been. It's very hard to "keep the faith and support the boys" when they follow one abysmal performance (v Palace) with even worse one against Burnley. Blind optimism and frequent rallying calls from the OS are counter-productive. We have reached the point when thousands of longsuffering saints fans really need to see something from the players (and manager) that is worth their support.

But then the players might not hear us sing, 'you're not fit to wear the shirt....Championship? We're 'avin a laugh....By far the ****test team, this league has ever seen...etc'

Sorry after the debacle on Saturday they do not deserve support. down in 15 Minutes no enough is enough. Bring on Administration and let Lowe lose his money.
