If I did bet on Saints I would go for a 1-1 DMG and Blackstock.

Scorecasts are for mugs, as is the first goal scorer. In the old days Le tiss was a good bet for first scorer but nowadays don't bother.

I'm on Size at 33/1 to score 1st goal, same bet last goalscorer. I always used to do ok with this bet when Killer was playing. Size I think is a similar player - would come up for the corners and looks like he could score. Only need to get right a couple of times a season to make a profit.

Not always the case. For example, back In the Strachan days when Beattie scored practically all our goals and we kept a lot of clean sheets, the 1 nil and 2 nil scorecasts with Beattie scoring first was always a good bet, despite not being the most attractive price (compared to the other scorecast odds).

If anyone has a Paddyy Power account, Surman to score at any time tomorrow is value at 13/2. It should really be about 7/2 - 4/1.
