BBC Torrent

Before all our posts were wiped out there was a thread on here with a link to a website which shows program listings on a number of channels and gave you links to download programs using a torrent.

Can anyone remind me what that link was?

Thanks for that, now I can watch MOTD and Top Gear again. Stupid Swedish Cable companies only have BBC World instead of BBC 1&2 (which is standard in the Netherlands).

Well you wouldn't want the BBC iPlayer to be honest. It's a non-caching player [like Windows Media Player, and unlike RealPlayer] so if you're experiencing slow internet/bandwidth conditions, and go away to leave the thing to build up the data, it won't do it. It buffers like all players, but doesn't do the RealPlayer 10 [and later versions] thing of building up the entire file. I wish it would, because while you may not want to download the programme, you might give a player 10-15 minutes start to get some data in.

BBC iPlayer doesn't work abroad does it? I tried to watch that 'Terror in the Skies' thing a few days ago but it wouldn't let me. Now I can jsut download the whole show and with great pic quality as well.
