Why punish anybody, if all that happens is that they get to overturn the ruling..? Personally, I believe this one should have stood. This may or may not be true, but it is irrelevant because the original ruling was correct regardless IMO. He was guilty of cheating and bringing the sport into disrepute, therefore his ban should have stood. Can the FIA now appeal against the appeal ruling? And if they can, will they bother?
