Any ideas on how I can get it to work on a windows 7 laptop?

Sometimes it installs, next it says not enough disk space in the game.

Have you tried running the application in compatibility mode? Ive got a few old games to run using this on a Windows 7 64 bit machine (star trek armada and an old sim city game). right click the application you are trying to run, click 'troubleshoot compatibility", then click run compatibility program, tick the "it worked on an older version of windows box", then pick the windows version it did actually work on....and you should be ok. Hope this works!

01/02 was the first CM/FM game I bought. It was amazing, I remember staying up until 2 in the morning on school nights playing the game. I have to have a dig around through my old games and find it.

Really struggling to get into it, I want to so much, just can't.

If you goto the "Data update discussion forum" you can update CM 01/02 to have current 2010 data. So Lallana and Lambert etc at Saints.

Remember it isn't an official update and is unrelated to SI.
