One of the few opinionated viewpoints of Jeremy Clarkson that has some truth in it. Although his claim about when he apparently got stopped in Switzerland because the car he drove was too loud, and the copper didn't say a word about a machine gun he had on his passenger seat I have my doubts.

 

The Swiss have an attitude of general dislike to the car, and are extremely disciplined on the roads. If you're on the pavement and you go within 6 feet of a zebra crossing the traffic will automatically stop for you everytime like someone's hit a switch. I once got stopped by a Swiss copper about 15 years ago because "I consistently drove 4km/h over the speed limit on a stretch of road". I only got reprimanded though.

 

Also any form of motorsport is still outlawed over there to this day.
