My Cousins step son is undergoing treatment for this.

He started of using a cream perscribed for him but this costv a fortune apparently and was a long slow drawn out process.

He is now about to commence Laser treatment,he went for the preliminary chat and was told it is painful unless you pay extra for the anesthetic ceam, which costs a hell of a lot,and the treatment itself costs about £120 per session.

Now it depends how many sessions you require as peoples skin reacts differently.

His mum was told that it will probably be around 12 sessions, but could be more.

He will not be getting any xmas or birthday presents for sometime i am led to believe.

I will let you know how it is going and the costs thus far,in due course.

This subject recently came up on another forum I have a look at.

I made a note of the following website as it came highly recommended. Obviously it's a long way away, but on their site they have a good write up of the different options there are.

A freind of mine who works in the beauty industry claims there is no 100 % removal system, most will leave a scar and there will be traces of ink in the skin, whatever is done. Cream, laser or IPL . Tattoos are quite big thing at the moment some people will be making a good living in trying to remove them..

I am currently getting a huge golden eagle tattoo'd onto my chest, so far Eric has done the feet, body and wings, but seems to have run out of skin to draw the neck & head. So at the moment it looks like it isn't going to have one. Fair play to Eric, he has let me have the tattoo for £400 instead of £800, or he has offered to get it lasered off for £1200, but I am worried it may leave a scar. Would it?
