fitting a tap

It's easy enough, best way for a DIYer is probably:

Isolate the water supply and cut the hot & cold pipes with a 15mm pipe cutter.

Then disconnect the taps from the sink.

Get a couple of push fit flexi tap tales.

Attach the new taps to the sink with the tap tales connected.

Wire wool around the edges of the old copper pipe

Place the pushfit fittings over the old pipes

turn the water supply back on and you should be fine!

Slightly harder if you've bought a monobloc tap...

It's not actually that hard, most taps will come with some sort of instructions its just a case of taking your time and making sure you don't cut away too much of the old copper pipes etc.

If you can't get your head round that I charge £40 to change a pair of taps - all my info is at www.agp-maintenace.co.uk but really if you take your time it's not too much for a DIYer
