Yes it was a nice surprise, not sure why they did take us back to the station by bus as well after the game we got drenched.

Great idea as I wouldnt have had a chance in hell of finding it otherwise, probably should have laid a return one on after though. Still even walking, got back just in time for the 1730 cattle train home, now that was a joke.

Saying that, I got a taxi from town to The Lansdowne, then walked the rest of the way.

The first one seemed to be for a, ahem, "select" clientele.

Very different to last year when I got lost in the back streets of Cardiff....in the fecking rain.

No such buses on way back....

I like this thread. If we just pretend nothings happened since the Cardiff match we might just feel more happy all summer. How do people think our match against Exeter will go?

At half-time in the Cardiff match I sent a text to some of my mates who hadn't gone.... it said something like "We're actually playing really well. Certainly deserve something. If the youngsters can maintain this we'll be fine this season"

In fairness, I had assumed that we would get better as the players adapted to competitive league footy. I also assumed the manager would have the nouse to change things if needed.

Sadly I was wrong.

Still, was a good day. Looking forward to some of the aways next year.
