Diablo 3

Never played a Diablo game before but managed to blag a copy so will be joining the masses at 11pm tonight!

Don't even know what it's about, but there seems to be a lot of buzz about it.

To be honest me neither....seems to be one of those games that somehow missed me by even though it has millions of players.

They said it is the most pre-ordered pc game in history so the hype is pretty huge.

Not knowing nothing about it my expectations are low

The gameplay of Diablo II is near perfect.

That game is over ten years old, and despite the graphics, I still play as it's still one of the most fun games I have.

Diablo III has a lot to live up to.

Great game. Like Jimmy_D said it has been around for over 10 years and is still right up there as a game to play.

Hard to know how they could improve on perfection

I've been playing this for a bit.

Main character is a Demon Hunter, which is very much like the Hunter class in WoW.

It is very good, although I'm approaching it as a former MMO player. Some of the ideas in it are so brilliant and so simple you wonder why no-one thought of it before. Best example of this is independent loot. That's right. Everyone gets their own loot. No crying over the Exceptional Halberd of Ultimate Drama.

Finished it on normal, and am in the final act of Nightmare at the moment. Normal is almost insultingly easy. Nightmare is a good challenging difficulty level. Past that, I hear it's a lot of grinding and getting one-shotted.
